Dear Valued Client
Eltham Vets are still open for trading and provision of essential services, in particular to our hard-working farming clients who will be stepping up in the coming months like never before to keep us fed and the economy going.
Where possible we will try and keep servicing your farm and your animals as usual, although as things change some services may need to be withdrawn or tweaked depending on the level of risk that places on our staff and our clients. Animal welfare remains our primary concern and if you have a sick or injured animal you can be assured we will be there to help. We must take separation protocols seriously and do everything in our power to keep distance between each other when conducting business on farm and in the clinic.
Companion animal clients can also rest assured that if your pet is injured or sick we will still see it, but we will need to assess all cases over the phone first before agreeing to see your pet at the clinic. All non-essential surgeries and procedures are cancelled for the time-being. Look for further communication from our dedicated companion animal team on how consultations will take place for at least the next month.
From a trading point of view, we will have all the products you need to keep operating your business, but we will not allow stock-piling. Our wholesaler and suppliers assure us they will be able to keep us stocked.
We ask that all clients ring the clinic and let us know what they are wanting to purchase before they come to the clinic. We have a table set up just inside the entrance where we will place small items for you to collect. Please do not come any further into the building than this table.
Larger items can be delivered to your vehicle in the car park if you ring us when you arrive.
Daniel and John will also be available to make deliveries on farm as required as long as they have advance notice and a bit of time to organise runs.
If you have an account with us all this will be charged to your account, so you just carry on as usual. If you don’t have an account with us we will be asking you to pay in advance by internet banking and will require evidence that payment has been made before you come in to collect your goods.
If you are in any doubt ring us. Look out for further communications as the situation develops.
Thank you for your patience and stay safe.
The team at Eltham Vets
